Day 02 April 02
#2
Dyslexia
it’s not just a disability
it’s an annoyance, people say
but I can’t help it
I was born this way
the average person sees
written instructions-
to them, a simple plan
but for me-
a new language
in a foreign land
what you see clearly
I struggle to see
that’s dyslexia-
that’s just me
when I go some place unfamiliar
my directions are skewed
I choose the wrong way first
like I always do
it’s easy for you
not for me
I wouldn’t judge you
like you judge me
give me a problem
others can fix
because I am highly logical
the solution just clicks
dyslexia isn’t chosen
it’s part of my design
and even with the struggle
My mind still shines

our brains work differently, some say they can hear color, or see patterns others don’t. we’re all unique. thank you for sharing.
