I said

who then tried to gaslight me 
with science placed inside 
a response of silence

I was looking for brevity
and that is what I found
indeed such things lead 
to aphorisms and neologisms 
- soulempty - 
I rather like that one indeed 
there is also the concept 
of the reptilian 
who themselves cannot 
create
needing to feed 
upon creators 
to sate – the hunger 
to have [heart 

& 

soul] 

my response is soulfully 
violent
[maybe I am reptilian 
in some way]
but would a reptilian 
question
if
they were a reptilian 
or ponder 
concepts like 

apotheosis
change
evolution 
metanoia
redemption 

trusting the untrustable loving the unlovable
feeling wise 
but
knowing those 
too
are lies 
told with truth
life shall always [prevail 
over 

death]
