When I Die by Josh Bond
When I die,
I will be quite happy to leave behind the weight of gravity and I hope to regain the clear blue eyes I had as a child, lost into dullness some- where around the age of seven

Immortal Beloveds by Pablo Cipher_O Martinez
Meeting, every time
through –
clear blue eyes
of
innocence. Later
lovers
in
a panopticon
of
heat lightning mist…
just as they had always planned

Author’s Note:
For Josh and Veronica Bond…
I was thinking of the idea of continuously
meeting each other in every incarnation…
In the paradigm of reincarnation…
Of the school of thought which ponders
the idea that we pre plan our lifelines
in between every reincarnation…
That we actually reincarnate in groups
of souls…
That is wild…
I was thinking of lovers who always
reincarnate as lovers…
Lovers who choose to meet in the
age of innocence…
They grow together…
Into a great love…
In every incarnation…
I believe in things like that…
Think of the idea that you cannot
extract what you do not already
possess…
In this structure of thought…
What if everything we can think
of or imagine…
Has a basis in far out reality…
I got the idea of the lightning storm
from…
We been gettin big storms…
Last night was flashes of heat
lightning…
Twas dope…
[The night before I had a fire in
the misty rain and lightning…]
I went to a site with community
cameras with vistas from all
over the town…
Tis super cool…
I went to the one for one of
the parks…
On the water…
The show was gettin goin…
I didnt expect to see anyone…
Then I saw a couple come up
and set out a blanket…
It was so punk rock and cool…
Immortal beloveds…
Yes…
I believe in things like that…
Josh and Veronika are a couple like that…
