Cosmic Dance

Look towards the sky.

The heavens declare the wonders of the universe.

If you gaze long enough,

you will find yourself in the stars.

If you listen long enough,

you will understand the ways of the moon.

If you reflect long enough,

you will see your light in the radiance of the sun.

From a certain perspective,

this world can make you feel small—

like a speck of nothing that doesn’t matter.

But from another angle,

you realize—

you are one with everything,

connected to all that is,

an important part in this cosmic dance.

It’s easy to give in to fatalistic thoughts,

to imagine you mean nothing in the grand scheme of life.

But the truth is,

you are here,

alive,

right now in this moment,

and that means more

than maybe you’ve ever recognized.
