There is always more,
more to the story.
You may see the tip of the iceberg,
yet there is always more
beneath the water.

We can make every effort
to relay all the pieces,
to be precise,
but still—
something is missing.
°
Can we ever know
the story in its fullness?
We can feel it,
but never truly know it.
Not much of a loss—
Feeling is more satisfying
than knowledge anyway.

It’s in our human nature to be curious, and some want to know the entire story. I like the iceberg example, it’s so telling, and scary of how much lies underneath.
