I don’t want to crash land.
I’ve come so far.
The fear creeps in…
I know this gravitational pull all too well.
As I entertain fear,
Foolishly giving it a spot of tea and cake,
I feel myself sinking further down.
If I kick fear out and lock the door,
Will my being become lighter?
Will I rise again?

I think psychological states are a special kind of writing…
I like how you present a solution in the form of a question,
which I think is super effective here…
