A Long Story
It started with a small event
I traced it back around the bend of that knotted thread of feeling exhausted by trauma strain and pain announcing their presence screaming without sound one glance at the unnerving selfie imprinted in my heart and decades later on this day I feel my childhood torn apart the journey to becoming whole stretches back so far along those tangled roots of untold stories paved in doom and gloom of ancestral troubles unresolved roots long since forgotten but still not rotten direction unclear outcome unknown I just yearn to learn how to be free of pain? is timing written in the bones? does healing have to take this long?
