Somewhere in the world is born such a day as this
*Silence
Washed amber-gold
Softly warms fleeing shadows
Hazed by mists
And awakens the soul
To breath deep the morn
Rendering heaven of earth before the eye
To bind in this moment apart
The heart
Such the poetry of the gods
That time, anew, begins

Sometimes blind
We see beyond the veil
In liminal moments and thoughts
Lost in distant keenings
Drawn to something beyond the edge of this –
This displaced, forgot…
Drawn to whispered other knowings
For we are strangers here
And we are missing there
Two separate and yet, one be
Blind and seeing
And sometimes
The veil is thin

You sometimes look at me that way
With nothing but silence to say
A closed distance unopened by you
Fraught, and yet, somehow subdued
However long is at your leisure
As though Fate cutting the measure
Yet, I too sometimes look at you
Distant silence filling the view

Touched
Reality's but a twilight shimmerI wander alone the ancient paths
Round root and stone, tracks forgotten
Overgrown
The old landmarks lost or trace removed
Yet spied here or there some seeming tell
That familiar whispers
The course to roamThere's power evoked
When heaven touches earth
As we in wonder pause at the intrinsic… Read more -

Soliloquy
I once thought I had discovered fire
Created matter
Day from night rendered
Could set all things to right
Spoke for all the world to listen
To my golden pearls of wisdom
Which I in naivety thought glistened
For surely such as I had wrought
Had known such measure ne’er before
Worlds circled me
For I was the sun – the light of worlds
The beginning…- View more comments

Written In The Stars
‘fore the Nile flowed from primal spring
Or mountains rose heavenward to sing
Nor yet of stellar dust earth was spun
Before sun and stars had first begunBefore the galaxies first did flare
Still unlaid the compass and the square
When outer darkness claimed this place
When all that was, was a void in spaceA singularity’s proposed

@Admin Hi, quick question. If I’m posting in a studio I’m a member of can I create an album of my work there or is that up to the organizer. I’m thinking after awhile it’ll be an endless scroll on the feed to find anything. Thanks for your patience.

Gypsy Soul
I wonder how you would taste,
your lips,
their softness in their yielding,
for surely they must yield before you surrender.
Whether in a moan or a kiss,
or a mingling of the two,
they would part,
and in that moment,
for me alone,
for you are mine. And would your eyes change as you looked at me through passion’s…

Its Quiet Now
It’s quiet now
Here
Where waters lap among the reeds
I can hear myself think
And a hundred impossible flights of fancy are possible
Here at the laver
Before the temple of God
– the fire pops –
And smoke stirred by a vagrant breeze
Ascends like incense
Bearing my thoughts like pristine prayers
Heavenward to Nature’s God
Alone at twilight
Til…- View more comments

@Cipher Managed to get signed up but not really sure what a lot of this is, and a lot of it doesn’t seem functional yet. Just wondering what the ETA is for “up and running”
